Mining and Mine Surveying is specialized branch of Engineering discipline that involves excavation and processing of minerals of different metals likes Iron, Copper, Aluminium, Gold, Silver, Manganese including Non-Metals like coal and Petroleum from the interior of the earth. Since the beginning of the Bajaj Chandrapur Polytechcnic the Mining Engineering branch is providing technical education to the students of Chandrapur and Gadchiroli like backward district. The remarkable thing is that 100% of the mining diploma holders Mr.M.M.Dange, HOD MS Dept.from this institution got jobs at various positions in different companies of coal India like WCL, SECL, BCCL, CCL etc. Apart from coal India students of Bajaj Polytechnic are holding the different posts in ONGC, GSI, MECL, MOIL, NMD, SCCL, KGF, IBM etc.
